Pastor Joel Stockstill is the pastor of 220, the revolutionary youth ministry of Bethany World Prayer Center. 220 embraces three principles that are essential for multiplication: radical prayer, radical evangelism, and radical discipleship. Using these principles, Pastors Joel has raised up hundreds of leaders who currently disciple over 6,500 students in weekly cell meetings. 220 reaches students throughout the region through weekly services, cell meetings, college campus outreaches, and clubs in junior highs and high schools. They have a goal to reach over 20,000 young people across the city of Baton Rouge. Pastor Joel also mentors youth pastors worldwide as a result of his desire to see a generation transformed by the Cross.

Jonathan Stockstill
Worship Leader, 220U College Pastor
Worship & Fire

Jonathan Stockstill is the worship leader for Bethany World Prayer Center in Baton Rouge, La. Also a songwriter, he has written or co-written over 50 songs for the body of Christ. Stockstill has played the piano and guitar for over 20 years. Born in 1981, he started at 4 years old and eventually received formal training in classical and jazz piano. Son of Bethany's current pastor Larry Stockstill and grandson of church founder Roy Stockstill, Jonathan has attended Bethany his entire life.

Jonathan has a heart to train and equip worship leaders and further believes this is the generation that will usher in the return of Jesus. His music emphasizes both the necessity for holiness before God but also the urgency of speaking out for Jesus. He and his wife Angie have been married since February 2005 and together they are a fresh voice for God's kingdom.

Jonathan Bowles was raised in the ministry of Bethany World Prayer Center, and under the direction of a godly family. Before coming on staff at 220, he resided in Kansas City, Mo. There he served as an assistant youth pastor and worship leader for a growing youth ministry. During this time he attended Bible College while also pursuing a degree in broadcast media. After graduation in May of 2005, Jonathan returned home to Bethany to launch 220i, the internship program of 220. He has a heart to see all aspects of our culture redeemed by the power of the Cross, and to raise up leaders of excellence who will truly change the world in which we live.

Josh Roberie
Cells

Josh started his first cell group over ten years ago as a 16 year old High School student, and has been leading cell groups ever since. He remained involved with the ministry of 220 throughout his time at Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in Marketing. Immediately after graduating from college, Josh joined the staff of 220 and now serves as cell coordinator and assistant to Pastor Joel Stockstill. Josh enjoys being able to serve in the ministry together with his wife Amy who also works on the staff of 220 overseeing the ministry to the girls. This year Josh and his team of leaders have a vision to reach 1,000 young people with the gospel through cells!

Amy Roberie
220 Girls!

Josh and Amy Roberie have been apart of Bethany since they were in high school. They both graduated from Bethany Christian School in 2000, and then went onto graduate from Louisiana State University in 2005. Josh joined the youth staff of 220 in March of 2005, and Amy joined the team a year later after serving as a teacher at BCS. Josh started his first cell group as a junior in high school, and later "recruited" Amy to help him start a radical Bible club at their school that grew to over 75 students. Amy has been ministering to the young ladies of Baton Rouge as a cell leader in 220 since 2002. Josh and Amy were joyously married on August 26, 2007.

Wayne Brown
Club220 Director

Wayne Brown has attended Bethany since 1990 and started his first cell group in 1996. Two years later, he went to Bible College and then joined 220's youth staff in 2000. He claims: "I'm privileged to be on Pastor Joel's team. He is the MAN!"

Wayne is the director of the campus club ministry in 220. Club220 works to accelerate the lives of students throughout the Baton Rouge area by empowering them through mentors. These mentors meet with students in small groups on campus to discuss character lessons and other Bible-based topics.

Jordan Jopling
220U

Jordan Jopling works with Pastor Jonathan Stockstill as the director of 220U, 220's ministry to the college campuses. Jordan grew up in north Louisiana before moving to Baton Rouge in 2002 to attend LSU. He soon visited Bethany on a Sunday morning and quickly made up his mind that Bethany would be his home. At LSU, he began leading a college life group and was involved in ministry on LSU's campus. After graduating from LSU in 2006, Jordan completed the 220 Internship. "Easily one of the best decisions of my life," he says. After 220i, he came to work with 220. Jordan got married on August 9, 2008 to Rebecca LeBlanc, and they are "excited about serving the Lord today!"

Julius Hunter
Prayer, Junior High

Julius Hunter moved to Baton Rouge in the fall of 1996 to attend Louisiana State University. It was there that he was first invited to Bethany World Prayer Center. During his time at LSU, he was a leader in Bethany's college ministry and was involved in college cells and retreats. After graduating from LSU in 2002 and working for a local social service agency, Julius joined the 220 internship which he describes as "one of the greatest decisions of my life."

Julius is the 220 Prayer Director and the Junior High Coordinator. He teaches interns weekly in the 220i prayer stream and co-leads the 220 North service. His team ministers to 1,000 young men weekly in cells all across Baton Rouge.
