Deluge Night at the 220 Box!

Thursday, June 4, 220 will hold its first Deluge Night in our new summer facility! The 220 Box is located at the former CompUSA building next to the Mall of Louisiana on Bluebonnet Boulevard. This event is open to all young people and will begin with activities at 6 p.m. followed by a service at 7 p.m. The theme is Caribbean Night, so be sure to wear your most festive island gear!
A2Z Update

In less than two months, we will have 100 high school students from 220 involved in the A2Z "Back to the Basics" Summer Internship. I can’t reiterate enough how awesome this year’s program will be. With awesome teaching from Pastor Joel, “hippofloat” and many of his team, this will be a summer that anyone around would want to be a part of. Unfortunately, it is reserved specifically for those High School revolutionaries who want to make a difference in their schools, the Kingdom of God, and want to know what their purpose in the Kingdom is. So if you are tired of being considered a follower and want to amp up your potential and become a leader of your peers and possibly a "Captain of 20," then A2Z is exactly where you need to be this summer. Oh, did I mention that it will not only be full of revelation, but loads of fun as well. We are planning a trip to Blue Bayou Water Park and an amazing in the country missions trip to New Orleans. There we will do some hands-on training on how to step out of our comfort zones and get out there and win some souls for the Kingdom. As Pastor Joel said in his prophecy a few weeks ago, “it’s time for war,” so we are looking for those who are ready to join in the battle with us for this generation!

220U Spring Event: “The Answer”

Friday, April 24, 220U Campus Church will hold a special spring event. Come celebrate the end of the semester at 8 p.m. at the outdoor Greek Theater on LSU’s campus for a special night of music with Pastor Jonathan and the Deluge Band. There will also be a powerful message from Pastor Joel, as well as giveaways and prizes. Invite your friends for a special night out under the stars. We’ll see you Friday, April 24, at 8 p.m. at LSU’s outdoor Greek Theater.
220i UpClose Weekend

There is an exciting opportunity coming up next month that we believe every potential intern should consider. We are hosting a 220 Internship informational weekend designed to give you an inside look at our internship program and how God is using it to transform young people into radical revolutionaries for the cause of Christ.
220i Up-Close is taking place April 16-17, 2009, at Bethany World Prayer Center. It will begin on Thursday, April 16, with an opening luncheon as well as a word explaining the heart and vision of Bethany World Prayer Center and 220. You will then attend class with the current interns and have a special session with Pastor Joel Stockstill. That night, you will be a part of our 220 Leadership meeting with over 350 leaders. Friday is packed with exciting events, which will include a Q&A session with our 220i staff, a missions’ lunch, and attending our high school clubs. That evening we will have a 220i Alumni Party at Bethany North. We also invite you to stay for our Sunday service at the North Campus on April 18, with Pastor Joel.
Registration for 220i Up-Close is $50.00 and includes two luncheons, a "future intern" t-shirt, several classes and information sessions, and any materials distributed throughout the weekend. Harvest Prayer

Please join us for a special time of "Harvest Prayer" starting at 6PM nightly at Bethany North. This season of prayer will begin on Monday Night, and will conclude on Good Friday April 10. We are believing for many family members and friends to be miraculously saved on Easter weekend as a result of these intercession meetings!
