220 is a ministry fueled by radical prayer. Every night of the week, leaders meet to seek the heart of God and to cry out for the lost. We want to provide messages, testimonies and resources that will help you draw closer to the Lord and encourage you to spend more time with Him.

Harvest Prayer

I believe that prayer and fasting occur when we are carrying a burden for others. Paul referred to a state of heart that was never able to rest as long as his brethren were unsaved: "I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh." (Rom. 9:1-3)

How easy it is to lose that burden, that unceasing sense of concern over the state of the lost! Our hobbies, obligations, careers, and possessions distract us, even from those around us, let alone the 5 billion lost people in the world (a conservative estimate, even if 1.5 billion on Earth are believers)...

There must be a remnant that will rise up with a burden and compassion in their spirits for the lost. Millions are being saved, but billions remain unsaved. Only leaders who carry a prayer burden will be endlessly involved in reaching the lost, for that is the heartbeat of God.
